    Sourav Ganguly is a legend of our country. He was an excellent cricketer. He came from an affluent family of Kolkata of West Bengal. Sourav Ganguly initially played football, later he became interested in cricket. In the history of ICC champions Trophy he is the first player to score three centuries. He was honored with many prestigious awards like Arjuna Award, Padma Shri award, Ram Mohan Roy Award, sports star person of the year etc. During his career, he was the world’s leading batsman and one of the most successful captains of the Indian national cricket team.
